British Olympic hopeful Kurts Adams Rozentals has been banned from competition and training for two years after posting an explicit video filmed on a plane. The footage, shared on his public Instagram account, quickly drew criticism and prompted an official investigation by Paddle UK.
According to the governing body, Rozentals’ actions brought the sport into “serious disrepute” and violated its code of conduct regarding indecent and offensive behavior. As a result, he was removed from Team GB’s World Class Programme and stripped of his financial support.
Rozentals defended his actions, calling the ban “very extreme.” He said the video, while explicit, was not illegal and had helped him earn enough money to continue funding his training independently. The case has sparked debate over athlete behavior and social media responsibility in professional sports.
